Kjente \u00e5rsaker kan v\u00e6re tidligere bruddskader, menisk\/ligament skader, infeksjon i leddet, inflammatorisk leddgikt og feilstillinger i leddet.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Symptomene som oppst\u00e5r ved kneleddsartrose er vanligvis knesmerter, hevelse rundt kneet og stivhet. Smertene oppst\u00e5r vanligvis ved aktivitet, men etterhvert som artrosen utvikler seg kan man f\u00e5r smerter i hvile og om natten. Smertene kan ogs\u00e5 variere utifra slitasjem\u00f8nsteret i kneet. F.eks slitasje under knesk\u00e5len gir mest fremre knesmerter n\u00e5r man g\u00e5r i nedoverbakke\/ned trapper.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Kirurgisk behandling med en kneleddsprotese er det siste man tilbyr en artrosepasient, der alle andre behandlingsalternativer ikke lenger er aktuelle. De oppst\u00e5r hos unge og aktive mennesker, men kan ogs\u00e5 oppst\u00e5 hos eldre. Den typiske degenerative rupturen oppst\u00e5r uten et kjent traume og kan oppst\u00e5 over tid. Vi ser dem ofte hos pasienter med slitasjekn\u00e6r som har f\u00e5tt en MR unders\u00f8kelse.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>B\u00e5de akutte og degenerative rupturer kan behandles uten kirurgi ( fysioterapi, smertelindring og Aktivitetsjustering), men skaper de mekaniske plager (dvs l\u00e5sninger av leddet) kan kirurgi tilbys. Akutte menisk rupturer pr\u00f8ver man \u00e5 sy slik at menisken tilheler. Vi ser dem ofte hos pasienter med slitasjekn\u00e6r som har f\u00e5tt en MR unders\u00f8kelse.<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nTreatment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>B\u00e5de akutte og degenerative rupturer kan behandles uten kirurgi ( fysioterapi, smertelindring og Aktivitetsjustering), men skaper de mekaniske plager (dvs l\u00e5sninger av leddet) kan kirurgi tilbys. Akutte menisk rupturer pr\u00f8ver man \u00e5 sy slik at menisken tilheler.
